Bilijie is the solo effort of writer/producer Justin William Lin (Color War) a project that began as a method of processing the relentless solitude of living in pandemic-era New York. Exploring all shapes of sound to outline the walls of his inner universe, Bilijie builds strange sonic spaces at odds with itself. From the restless basement vibes of 2021’s “Distortions”, to deep dives into mental headspaces in 2022’s “Moods Pt.1” and the pounding live-wire Techno in 2023’s “BOOM”, Bilijie channels an underground river of anxiety into a bursting geyser of unapologetically new sounds.
