Having only released music by Color War for years, it took a pandemic to start building a library of artists, but here we are. Adding to our catalog is London/New York by way of Gothenborg and Tehran, Saga Aava finds a space between music and another kind of world building assembly through shapes, sounds, strangely vibrating recordings of unusual medical devices, and a detailed examination of the mind.
Saga Aava is not an easy listen. Clocking only 15 minutes, Darkness is harrowing, sometimes straight up uncomfortable, yet there is an odd clarity to the vision of a subconscious realm. To explore this universe takes a certain want to, but we can confirm it is rewarding.
